Rogers Cup 2012 in Photos: Paul-Henri Mathieu
Another year, another shot at watching Paul-Henri Mathieu in the Qualifying turnament at the Rogers Cup. It's such a tremendus shame to see a player with Paulo's talent and a game as technically pure and sound as they come being slowwed down by injuries. Many times over.
His today's match vs USA's Michael Russel featured a line painting job Picasso wound be proud off. Paulo could hardly miss going for the lines from all angles and hitting winners from all over the court. The crowd, predominately in th Frenchman's corner, had a lot to cheer for in the relatively straight forward 6-3, 6-2 win.
Here's to another good match tomorrow. I'll leave you with a few photos for now. You're welcome, thank you and good night! /drops the mic/
