Tennis Fashion Fix

Situated in Indian Wells , Renaissance Esmeralda Indian Wells Resort & Spa is a family-friendly resort in the desert and close to Indian Wells Tennis Garden , making it a popular choice among the tennis players and fans travelling to the desert for the BNP Paribas Open. Maria Sharapova and Jelena Ristic were not the only members of the tennis family who decided to stay in New York following the conclusion of the US Open and indulge in fashion activities of the New York Fashion Week. Novak Djokovic 's girlfriend, Jelena Ristic , is starting to turn some heads in the fashion World. Since she's been spotted with Vogue's editor in-chief Anna Wintour at both New York editions of Novak Djokovic Foundation Gala and the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City , it's not a huge surprise to see Jelena appear in Vogue Flash right before the US Open. Maria Sharapova celebrated the 1st anniversary of her candy line by teaming up with Henri Bendel to create a Sugarpova-inspired clothing and accessory line which she officially launched in New York City on August 20, 2013, just days prior to withdrawing from the final Grand Slam of the year, the US Open, due to a shoulder injury. Just like last year, when she was officially introducing Sugarpova to the World, Maria opted for a David Koma dress (Fall 2013 Collection) for the launch party.The blue/black organza tulip dress with a sheer front and nude bodice underneath made for a stunning look, completed by the Rupert Sanderson Winona patent leather pumps in black, a Graziela Gems ring , and Sugarpova earrings . As the Canadian Davis Cup Team battles Serbia in Belgrade in the World Group Semi Final , we look back at the Americas Group I ties Canada played on it's way to the current state of affairs. In March of 2009, Canadian team of Frank Dancvic , Frederic Niemeyer and Daniel Nestor ( Milos Raonic as the alternate) faced Ecuador (including the Lapentti brothers, Nicolas and Giovanni ) at the indoor facility at the Rexall Centre in Toronto in the Americas Zone I play-off tie. Canada lead 2-1 heading into the Sunday matches and should never have lost, but somehow did, in the fourth and deciding rubber which saw Dancevic waste two match points and eventually lose to the veteran Nicolas Lappentti.
